Mark L. Dyson is the Creative Director at the American Leadership & Policy Foundation (ALPF). In addition, he owns and operates a 3D modeling/animation and film VFX studio in Central New York.
As Creative Director, Mark provides oversight of artists and projects involving art media, digital, animation, and other creative operations designed to help add visual impact and clarity to ALPF presentations prepared for citizens and decision makers.
Mark is a retired USAF officer of over 23 years, serving as a military intelligence translator (Korean and German), combat aircrew in electronic warfare platforms, and research engineer in advanced information visualization technology. Prior to founding his animation studio, he worked for the Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Visualization Engineer, crafting interactive 3D data displays and control systems for cyber warfare operations.
Mark is a graduate of The Ohio State University and the Air Force Institute of Technology. He lives in Utica, New York with his wife, Anne, and a bevy of cats (who have been gifted with way too much personality). Their three children are grown and making their way in the world, including a son currently serving in cyber security in the USAF.
