David Stuckenberg is Founder and Chairman of the American Leadership & Policy Foundation and a veteran USAF instructor pilot with over 900 combat hours flying intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and jet transport aircraft.
While serving as an officer, David has held leadership positions including: Operations Supervisor of POTUS directed missions, Assistant Director of Training, Aircraft Commander, and Section Commander. In 2014, he was competitively selected to serve as a member of the USAF Air University think tank (on innovation).
During his service, David gained a strategic understanding of the complex constitutional and geopolitical challenges confronting America and our military enterprise due to emerging technologies. He is committed to ensuring our nation’s liberties by educating citizens and leaders on constitutional and policy issues arising of new technological paradigms.
David has written and presented to the media, civic groups, state leaders, and U.S. military and NATO leadership on an array of issues including: innovation, drones, security, defense, space, leadership, ethics, and human rights.
As Chairman of the American Leadership and Policy Foundation, David works side-by-side a world-class cadre of over 30 principled scholars and innovators to develop tomorrow’s leaders and to advance balanced and practical solutions to our nation’s most imperative policy issues.
David is currently pursuing a PhD in international relations; holds a Masters in political management from The George Washington University, a B.S. in aviation technology from The University of Central Missouri, and certificates from the USAF Air University and NATO Tactical Leadership Programme. He resides in Tampa, Florida with his wife and their four children.
