David Stuckenberg is the Founder and Chairman of the American Leadership and Policy Foundation and a veteran military instructor pilot with over 900 combat hours flying intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and transport aircraft.
Maddox has led in many positions, including Flight Commander, evaluator, instructor, and launch and recovery pilot. His he also served as the 46th Expeditionary Reconnaissance Squadron Director of Operations. During his operational assignments he completed a Master of Engineering Management with California National University.
ALPF welcomes aviation and aerospace law expert and professor Sarah Nilsson as Sr. Fellow.
Nilsson has both an aviation and a legal background. She began her career as a pilot in 1994 and is a Federal Aviation Administration licensed airline transport pilot in multi and single engine fixed-wing airplanes. Since 2000 she has been a gold-seal flight instructor, and has trained hundreds of pilots. She also has flown cargo and private business jets. In addition to her own research papers primarily on Drone Law and Space Law and Policy, Nilsson is co-author of the 6th edition of Practical Aviation and Aerospace Law with Scott Hamilton, a national aviation law textbook. In 2016, she hopes to publish another book, this time on American drone law.
