Michael has had extensive experience litigating accountability and integrity lawsuits in both federal and state court. Michael has challenged the delay of the employer mandate on behalf of a Florida orthodontist, challenged the Cook County Sheriff’s Office for failing to comply with its legal duties, and challenged the District of Columbia’s policy allowing Congressional employees to purchase health insurance on the “Small Business Exchange.”
ALPF is honored to welcome Kerry O’Brien Smith as a Visiting Research Fellow. As a researcher, Ms. Smith brings a wealth of experience in family advocacy, law, and social research.
With 20 years of public relations, budgeting, fundraising, marketing, and research experience, Ms. Smith is enthusiastic about ALPF’s examination of the impact federal and state policies that affect the American family have on national security. In addition, she will help examine issues relating to efforts by international terrorists to take advantage of at risk demographics.
Michael Woodson is a senior fellow at the American Leadership & Policy Foundation. Woodson founded the start-up Stratpass Corporation as a non-partisan, national security, and open source intelligence analysis company. His consultancy brings law, policy research, professional fact investigation, language study, and multi-disciplinary source analysis to the discipline of structural, human, and deliberative open source intelligence work. Woodson completed InfoSec Institute’s Certified Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing course in April 2016, adding technical contextual understanding to his structural analyses.
